Brown named president of Automotive Carry Institute

Doug Brown of Indiana-headquartered Car Service Group has been elected chairman of the Automotive Carry Institute (ALI), whereas Gary Wainwright of Weco has joined the board as an affiliate class consultant.

The appointments had been introduced through the group’s annual assembly on Oct. 31.

ALI promotes the secure design, building, set up, service, inspection, and use of automotive lifts.

Becoming a member of the pair on the board are previous chairman Jeff Kritzer of BendPak (Santa Paula, California), Brian Spikes of Challenger Lifts (Louisville, Kentucky), Allan Pavlick of Stertil-Koni (Stevensville, Maryland), Gary DiAngelo of Whole Automotive Lifting Options (Oakville, Ontario), Stet Schanze of Grey Manufacturing Firm (St. Joseph, Missouri), and ALI president R.W. “Bob” O’Gorman.
